Trustees
The Nicola Corry Support Foundation is a registered charity and currently has the following trustees.
|
Claire Corry -
Chair
"Achieving charity status is something I know my sister Nicola would have wanted, she fought so hard and was so thankful for all the Foundation did for her to help her through the struggle. Continuing the charity in her memory is something positive we can do to help as many families as possible who face a similar situation to the one she faced. We miss her terribly but I know she is guiding us in achieving our 'vision' ".
Claire is currently working as Senior Human Resource Advisor for NHS, Bristol Primary Care trust and is fully qualified as required by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She has a BA Hons in Tourism & Leisure Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. |

Julie Haydon
I am currently working full time as Head of Human Resources for the St Monica Trust, a charity that provides care, support and accommodation to elderly people. Prior to that I spent 15 years in the NHS, also in the world of HR.
My involvement in and commitment to the charity began right from the start. Seeing the challenges that Nicola faced in being a mum and living with cancer really hit home - especially as I had young children at the time. Therefore if we, together as a charity, can help relieve some of those challenges for families in a similar situation it means that something good has come out of something so tragic.
I am also a Mum to Sophie (13), Sam (9) and step-mum to Alfie (7) which keeps me busy in the spare time that I have! |
