| "The Beer Tasting evening was a great success after a stressful week of worrying about the predicted weather forecast. At the last minute we changed the venue from Harbury Road to the Wellington Pub Beer Tent with thanks to Bath Ales for letting us have this free of charge. After a lot of hard work from the Gunter’s and the Cox’s the tent was transformed into a comfortable marquee suitable for any fund raising event, where everyone enjoyed tasting all the beers and eating the Ploughman’s supper. The evening was hosted by Gary Cox, who did a superb job, as always! We would like to thank Ben Gunter who arranged for different breweries to donate all the Beer for either tasting or selling to make the evening a great success. Also, thanks to Stage Electrics for the sound system. | |

Special thanks to: Bath Ales Brewery, Hall & Woodhouse Brewery, Sharps Brewery, Butcombe Brewery, RCH (Royal Charles Hotel) Brewery, Titanic Brewery We would also like to thank those who donated Raffle/Auction prizes especially Inovagroup, Premier Heating, BSS and Rolls Royce this all helped to make the evening a great success. The total amount raised was £1971.14 The next joint fundraising event will be held on Saturday 16 February at Little Stoke Social Club – Details to follow." |
