Fundraising - 2004
A number of friends and family have raised money for the Foundation by organising anything from car washing to "dress down" days at work. As well as the Uk help has come from as far afield as Greece and Spain.
We would also like to thank all those generous people that have made donations.
A big thanks go to all our friends on the Greek Island of Crete, from Jollies Bar in Aghios Nikolaos who supported the Curry Night, which raised an amazing £1,000 for the Support Foundation. From the photos it looks like a great time was had by all - wish we could have been there. "Thank you to Joan and Tracy for your endless support - don't know what I'd do without you. | Andy and Ben organised a Karaoke evening with Mini Auction and a Guess the Name of a large cuddly dog (Mollie) This was held in the ‘Black Swan (‘Dirty Duck’) in Westbury on Wednesday 24 November and raised an unbelievable £1,500 for the Support Foundation- very many thanks to all concerned. Will post some photos when I find anybody who had a camera! | |
On Sunday 14th November Carol Dornan (Nicola's first primary school teacher 20 years ago!) held a Quiz in her garden in Mojácar, Spain. Forty people took part, and the afternoon raised 435 euros for the Support Foundation. Very many thanks from all here in cold, wet, wintry Britain! Since this we have received a further 50 euros and also another donation of £100 - again many many thanks. |

On the weekend of 21 & 22 August, James Gunter, Nicola's cousin, made an amazing £331 by washing cars. Additionally he raised £30 by having a ‘dressing down’ day at work.

| Many thanks to the Sales Staff of Yate Disposables who arranged Dress Down Days or Muffty Days as they called it. They collected £1 per person and raised £120 for the Support Foundation |  |
| Kingswood Football Club raised £25 for the Support Foundation and special thanks to Dave Boulton. |  |
| Matthew & Taz held a car boot sale in Brighton which raised £100 for the Support Foundation. This is very much appreciated. |  |
